A quick review of the spring ‘20 runways show that lingerie as outerwear along with bra tops, cardigan sweater sets and more, will all be present in this summer’s lineup — all of which are perfect for our current living situation.
Moreover, just being plain comfortable for being home and trying to find joy in everyday attire without feeling like you climbed out of bed.
Bralettes are perfect and comfortable lounge item that is a huge hit this summer. Pair with a comfy tee or tank top and if your chilled inside, throw on a kimono or cardigan that can quickly be peeled off as you head outside.
We still are loving joggers and terry short lounge shorts as our favorite bottom being home. Even a cute skirt that has give helps you feel as if you have dressed up but feels great to move about at home.
If you have made the transition fron office to home office here are some tips!
- Wear flats, mules and slides instead of heels. Do we hear a hallelujah?
- Wearing clean lined jeans and sweatpants are so much more comfortable than office trousers and slacks.
- Tailored or clean design t-shirts instead of stiff blouses.
- When heading out, use a crossbody (hands free) bag instead of a purse you are holding and might inadvertently set down somewhere.
However you're dressing at home, the most important thing is to feel happy and good. If that means wearing soft and stretchable fabrics, do it. If you need to dress up one day because you need to feel human again, girl do that.
